Contact's email address

Apologies if been asked before: I cannot delete a Contact's email address, I have gone to EDIT and deleted the two that are no longer valid and clicked on DONE but on going back to the contact they are still there. I am able to add a new one.

Make a note of the contact details then delete the entire contact.

Wait a few moments or preferably check on another device that it is gone.

Add it back.
