Hi,
I have turned off all notifications in System > Notifications and it works, except when may MacBook Pro lid is up/open. Then I get a ding for every email that I get.
I I use the do not disturb feature will it block the text & whatsapps sound from my iPhone?

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like you turned off Notifications, but you still receive them. You can use a Focus to pause and silence all notifications or allow only certain notifications. The second article explains how to use Focus with Do Not Disturb to silence calls, alerts, and notifications that you get while your iPhone is locked.
