HKSV not recording

Hi all,

i have a 2TB iCloud+ plan

4 Logitech circle view cameras

2 home pods 1 big one mini both set up as home hubs.

2.4ghz network set up

since IOS 15 my 4 cameras have just stopped recording to iCloud. They all show as red in the home app (set to recording) we have removed the whole home and re paired all the cameras, still no joy. done lots of messing with iCloud settings.

There is loads of people online who seem to have the same issue across all the different manufactures of cameras so it doesn’t seem to be just Logitech.

is this something apple is working to fix ? Sometimes they spring into life for a few days and work again, but stop again for weeks at a time.

Hey Ballester1,

It appears that you're having a problem with your Logitech Circle View Cameras since updating your HomePod speakers. They show that they're recording, but nothing is being saved. Good job on the troubleshooting steps you've tried, and we're glad to provide assistance.

How do I reset my Circle View Camera? - Logitech Support + Download -- Reset your cameras.

Reset HomePod - Apple Support -- Reset your HomePod speakers.

Update HomePod - Apple Support -- Make sure your HomePod speakers are on the latest update. The current version is 15.2.

Set up and use HomePod - Apple Support -- Set up your HomePod speakers again.

Add a HomeKit accessory to the Home app - Apple Support -- Then add your cameras to the Home app again.

See if the cameras are working as expected now.

Contact Logitech - Corporate Offices & Support Enquiries - If they're still not working as they should, contact Logitech to look into this with you.

Hi snickz,

the above didn’t work. This isn’t a Logitech issue as the cameras work fine. It seems to be a homehub/iCloud issue.

if I set my iPad Pro as a home hub they record for a brief moment then stop.

apple really need to look into this issue.
