I paid for more iCloud storage and my phone still says storage is full

Because you purchased more icloud storage to backup or sync to, not more internal memory for your iphone.

You will need to delete data off your phone to gain back memory.

I have purchased 1year of additional iCloud storage. No my memory on phone isn’t even close to full. Still received email stating iCloud storage is full.
