Macbook pro suddenly loses DNS connectivity - network timed out

I dug around and ran this in terminal:

dig @8.8.8.8 www.google.com

; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> @8.8.8.8 www.google.com

; (1 server found)

;; global options: +cmd

;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

I was checking TCPDUMP at the same time, as suggested in this post: https://askubuntu.com/questions/743819/connection-timed-out-no-servers-could-be-reached-error

sudo tcpdump -n -i en0 host 8.8.8.8

And there is no output on tcpdump.

What does this mean.

After a couple of minutes the connectivity starts up again, just like that. What is going on ?

i'm on a MacBook Pro 15", macOS Monterey.
