iPhone 11 iOS 15.2 update

i got a notification that until my phone is updated to the latest which is 15.2 I won’t be able to use my phone to answer phone calls or receive text messages. I’ve been trying to do the update but my phone stays stuck on “verifying update” and won’t move from there. Rebooted the phone 3 times and nothing changed. Can someone help please! Thank you in advance!
