Iphone 13 wont send photos in messages

Why is my IPhone 13 freezes when I try to send messages? Recipients have and/or use Messages. My MMS is turned on in case IMessage is not available to recipients. I have adequate storage available. Photos still wont send. Frustrating!

Is there a photo stuck in messages that’s keeping new photos from sending properly? If so, how do I clear that blockage? Christmas is coming and I MUST send photos! Thanks!
