Is auto enhance/HDR photo/Deep Fusion going to be removed?

Photos on the new iPhones are horrible; it looks great when you take the photo and suddenly you have the ugly auto enhance, making people look really bad, exposure all over the place, and hard contrast. The oily effect is not helping either.

Can someone please tell me if this is going to be fixed? At least put back the option to disable HDR photo? I’m starting to regret move from iPhoneX to iPhone 13pro.

As well, I convinced my girlfriend to move from Android to iPhone, and this is not helping.

Turn off Smart HDR and Scene Detection

You don't have to use it.

Once you turn off Smart HDR you should have a button to turn off HDR on the camera while shooting

They removed those options on the iPhone 13, I was expecting them fixing it on an update but it didn’t happen…

Right. I just thought they forgot to include 13 in the article below (they often do)

Presumably as you have iPhone 13 and those are iPhone 12 settings.

I didn't know that was removed, unless you have the 13 pro, I can't keep up
