Now in iOS15.2, under the Music App in CarPlay, "Now Playing" screen does not come up, just the main Music Library comes up. Prior to iOS15.2 the Music App would show the current track and album being played. Apple have inadvertently introduced this bug in the latest upgrade. Please fix this Apple 😩

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like CarPlay is no longer displaying your currently playing album art and song information. You may need to follow the steps we've linked below to troubleshoot and set things up again.
However, it may also be that "Now Playing" needs to be selected to change from the "Library" view and begin showing the currently playing track information.

I followed the steps in the link to the guide "if you need help with CarPlay" and it has not fixed the issue. Back to the drawing board I'm afraid 😫😤
