Yes, I checked all the Settings suggestions. Three finger swipe would not work when the Classic screen saver was used. I switched to Ken Burns and all works fine now. Both screen savers used 'albums' as the source.

I must correct my previous statement. three finger swipe does not work with ken burns/albums either. It seems to not work once the screen saver becomes activated and then interrupted when I resume working.
