Migration assistant has been stuck at one hour remaining for at least five hours? Should I cancel and start again?

Please hold down the power button to about the process. Then, please follow the steps in Sep Assistant and Migration Assistant, if you are cabling the two computers together or using Wi-Fi that will almost always fail. If you do not have a Time Machine backup of the old computer, please create one. When you do follow the steps in Back up your Mac with Time Machine and use a high quality External Hard Disk such as a OWC Mercury Elite Pro.
