Apple TV + subscription

hello!

I have had a free Apple TV + subscription for almost a year that runs out the end of February. If I want to continue it, can I link a credit card account to pay for it? I have money on an iTunes card saved in my account right now, but I would like to keep that separate and my understanding is that the balance is used first and then it starts charging your next preferred method of payment. Is there a way to set up JUST the Apple TV subscription to be paid by credit card?
