No Sleep for touchbar

Touch Bar is a big failure of Apple, however since I have it - it broke.

Whenever the touchbar goes to sleep, is starts flickering mad and obviously damaging my eyes.

Any software available to prevent it from sleeping or how can I request a future request so it can be configurable in System Preference?

Hey there hugronaphor,

It looks like you have some issues with your Touch Bar. We are happy to help. Have you tried the following?

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac -- Reset the nonvolatile random-access memory (NVRAM) using the steps in this article. See if the flicker stops.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac -- If resetting NVRAM didn't resolve the issue, restart your Mac in safe mode and test how it responds. Afterwards, reboot normally and log into your own user account. Remember this when booting in safe mode: Graphics performance limited in macOS Recovery, safe mode, or Guest User mode

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac -- If the issue is also happening in safe mode, use this article to create and test a new administrative user account. This will demonstrate if the issue is isolated to your account, or if it's system wide.

Let us know how that goes, and take care!
