Can’t add Slack to Contacts app

I’m having an issue where I can’t add a Slack profile to people in my contacts. Whenever I do and test it out, Slack tells me that contact can’t be found.

It's spelled exactly the same and even has the same email already in the card.

Can't add a contact on Contacts app in Ventura When I try to add a new contact on the app it suddenly interrupt the process and came back to search, no crash or error of the app. It appears an empty card on the contacts title No Name. I have Ventura 13.4.1 and the contact app is in sync with iCloud and my company gmail account. If I create a contact in my phone it properly sync with google and the is reflected on the local Contact app in my Mac. I also noticed, if I edit that No Name contact with the information it works fine. But every time I try create a new contact happens the same, the go again with the No Name contact to fill it. This is ok as a walk around but I have seen that exactly the same issue has been happening at least since 2020, it is hard to understand how Apple has not solved it after all this time. Some people mentioned that could solve it disconnecting a reconnecting the iCloud account, I tried that but works only ones, when I try to add a second new contact it failed again.

Can't add new gmail contact in Apple Contacts app on Macbook I am running Macbook Air OS Monterey 12.6.2. Have all my email accounts feeding into Apple mail app. Still have the problem of not being able to add a new gmail contact - after I enter the name, the whole contact card disappears. So my workaround is to create a "seed" new contact on my iPad, then wait for it to sync, then edit it on my macbook. This is real PAIN - has occurred in previous OS versions as well.why cant this be fixed???

Adding a New Contact Glitch/Bug I was just trying to add a contact via "Contacts" on my MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max machine. I'm on Monterey 12.2. I've tried both "File > New Card" pathway and the " + " button to initiate a new entry. After a few moments, while typing in the name or any other information, the pathway refreshes and I'm out of the create new field and just on another random name in my Contact list and have to start over. It's happened a few times already at different points/fields (in name or e-mail or number etc.) I was able to do it in my phone just fine. Any help would be appreciated.
