iTunes and Windows

I own a Windows 11 Pro OS Desktop computer. I also own an iPhone 11. I cannot read an Apple eBook on iTunes on my Windows Computer. Music yes; Movies yes; Audiobooks yes but not eBooks!!! Why? I love reading. I love eBooks. I'm seriously thinking of buying an Android Phone and giving up iPhones for good! What is wrong with Apple! There are millions of computer owners other than Apple! Imagine millions of people buying Apple eBooks and using them on iTunes on non-Apple devices. Imagine the revenue flow into Apple's pockets! So... Again, what is wrong with Apple! What? Your a Trillion dollar company and what?! I guess you're too big for your Britches!

Apple's iBook format is not supported on Windows PC. iTunes 12.7 and later no longer sync iBooks to or from Apple devices, the general intention is that you manage your Books collection in the cloud. Amazon however provide a Kindle reader for PC. If you want to consume eBooks on your computer perhaps you'd be better off making your eBook purchases from Amazon.

The eBook I want to read on my PC is only in Apple's iBook format. I cannot get it for use on a Kindle Reader! As you said, Apple's iBook format is not supported on Windows PC. I am retired. I worked in the defense industry. That industry didn't use Apple devices back then or now. Now that I'm retired I bought an iPhone 11. In the 70's I was one of the first user's of the Apple IIe computer. I thought I'd give it a shot and buy Apple once again. Like I said previously, there are 10s of millions of non-Apple-device users. I guess Apple doesn't care about people like me who have tried to straddle the fence between Apple, Windows, Android, Linus etc... It's one camp or the other! Fine! I'm done with Apple. Believe it or not, a person can live without Apple! Since Apple wants to follow this path, fine, I'm done! Goodbye Apple. Hasta la vista! Good riddance!
