How do I use the new facetime portait mode on Macbook 2020 Air?

I updated my Macbook Air 2020 to macOS Monteray version 12.1. However, when I try to use Facetime, it doesn't give me the option to use portrait mode as my phone does. I also checked for it on the control center and it doesn't appear there. The screen share button also doesn't seem to work. In this case, what do I do?

Portrait mode in FaceTime is only available on Macs with Apple Silicon. If your Mac is an early 2020 model, you have the Intel chip, which is not compatible. If your Mac is late 2020 model, you have the Apple Silicon chip.
