Mission Control has stopped working on my M1 MacBook Pro. I'm using Monterey. Can't even launch it from the Launchpad.

I have the same problem but killall Finder and/or killall Dock do not fix the problem.

Restart is not necessary, logout/login is enough

I have the same issue, they need to fix this, not just telling us to restart the computer. Mission control will stop working again after the restart, I just updated to 12.2.1 and this is still happening. Unbelievable.

honestly we shouldn't use any work around, it's a problem they need to fix it, period. after the latest update (12.2.1) I'm still experiencing random crash on mission control on my 16" M1 Pro BMP.

All my apps were downloaded from App Store, It's not like I'm using apps outside the Apple eco system...

Just fix it APPLE!

Very sorry to hear that. Come on Apple...seriously. Anyway, Ive also had the same problem several times now with my new 2022 MacBook Pro. What happens when phone tech is told about these bugs? I've also had some bad experiences with phone techs trying to get help with basic iCloud sharing operations.

Just updated to Monterey 12.5 yesterday. This issue happened to me today, and a couple of times last week. So Apple definitely hasn't fixed the issue. I do believe they are aware of it but it doesn't seem like they have done anything to fix it. It seems the most they will do is patch minor bugs and major security issues after a new OS version is pushed out. All we can hope for is that the issue is fixed when the next major OS version is released.

Just bought a brand new Mac Studio and frustrated to have the same problem, reading it goes back more than one year and not a real fix for it! 😟

You’ve created some frustrated customers here, I’ve seen this in Reddit as well. I’m starting to think this might be a hardware related issue, otherwise it will be fixed long ago.

Also having the same issue on an M1 Pro. How much are your engineers getting paid? This is bush league stuff.

It is ridiculous that I have to kill dock 5 times a day because mission control stops working.

"Apple - System Preferences - Dock & Menu Bar - Dock - Automatically hide and show the dock" is selected.

Yep. Buy a car from the Apple dealership only to learn you can only purchase gas at that same dealership.

Running Monterey 12.3.1 Macbook 14' M1

NO LONGER HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY APPS INCLUDING CHROME AND WHATSAPP.

On my M1 MAX with the latest upgrade of Monterey IT IS NOT FIXED
