We understand you're seeing an error when you attempt to update macOS. We'll be glad to assist.


Let's start by testing this issue while in safe mode. To complete this,  Start up your Mac in safe mode 


Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, completes a basic check of your startup disk, and clears cache. Try updating the software while your Mac is in safe mode.
