English content in Japan

I am an American living in Japan. I would like to use my Japanese bank for my billing, but I would like to access English (i.e. Apple US) content on Apple TV, iTunes, etc. Is this impossible?

Yes; you can't use a different country's iTunes Store. If you've previously bought content from it(except for rented movies), it'll remain on the computer.
