When Facebook is open all my calls are silenced after iOS update

It worked! Turning off Attention Aware Features worked on my iPhone 12! Unbelievable, as I just phoned Apple Care yesterday and they did not offer this solution.

The same thing has been happening to me for The past few weeks and driving me crazy! Anytime I am on Facebook/watching reels and get a call it comes up that I am getting a call but will not vibrate or ring. Any fixes?!?!?

Doesn’t work at all. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max. My husband has it also and if the phone is open in Facebook the phone will not ring or vibrate. Why isn’t Apple addressing this if it’s happening to so many people.

also the last few weeks my phone won’t connect to Bluetooth in my car. Anyone else?

I’m having the same issue, the phone won’t ring when on Facebook watching the news. This is a disappointing, I usually just listen to the news reels while working and now I’m missing calls. How can the Facebook app override the operating system like this? Apple needs to make a patch and fix this! Nothing should override the operating system!

No just Facebook is affecting the rings of the phone calls, google app too it silent the phone calls and text messages alerts so you can receive but does not plays any sound, the issues here is not iOS 15 is the thirds party apps

Go to your iPhone settings Face ID & password and turn off that option pointing with a red arrow

This does not work for me, I have an iPhone 8 Plus with no Face ID. Any fixes for iPhone 8 Plus?

I have an SE 2 and I have been having the same issue. If I clear tabs it will only rectify briefly but goes back to the same issue. I do not have Face ID either.

Can someone assist please?

So this problem is permanent? One phone with face recognition and one without - nothing works. This is not a new or recent problem - it has been going on for some time now. Please everyone keep posting with either your confirmation of problem or with a solution if you find it. Thanks,

I have an SE, currently have iOS 15.1. I’ve noticed this issue more on the YouTube app since it’s what I use the most but it does happen with Facebook too. Does not occur with any other apps to my knowledge. This has been happening for quite some time and it’s really annoying. If I didn’t want to hear my phone ring I’d put it on silent or do not disturb etc. Nothing should override my phone’s settings in my opinion.

iphone 12 pro with iOS 15.5, will not ring while on FB Video, or news, or when watching anything with FB Audio. Not the same while on YouTube - Ringtone overrides YouTube audio.
