I paired my airtag with my iphone 12. IOS is current.
iphone does not list airtag as a device.
icloud does not list airtag as a device.
When I leave my house, I get a notification that I left my airtag behind!?
Still can't see the device:-(

AirTags are not “devices”. They are “items”. Check there in FindMy (at the bottom).
Is the AirTag on or in your briefcase?
Yes. I gave my AirTag that “Briefcase” name.
