This Item is temporarily unavailable - Mid 2009 MacBook Pro

Earlier today, I received a Mid 2009 15 inch MacBook Pro and I had to reinstall OS X El Capitan, when I went on to do that I got an error saying “This item is temporarily unavailable”. So, I tried changing the date and time, I couldn’t boot into internet recovery mode (it kept showing the apple logo for some reason) and I tried signing into iCloud via Getting help Online but it was taking forever to load. So, I don’t know what else to do. If someone knows, let me know. Thank you.

How to reinstall macOS

This method will require and active and functioning Internet Connect to communicate with Apple Servers.

For best results, connect to the Router via an Ethernet Cable.
