Spinning Beach Ball at Login

2010 iMac running High Sierra. It has two user accounts on it. I can log into mine, no problem. Can do whatever I need to do without any issues.

The other account... when that user logs in, we get the spinny beach ball of death. It takes five minutes to do anything, and when that even happens, it fails.

I've reset/zapped the Pram, repaired the disk in recovery mode, and prayed. None of that has helped.

Any ideas? I mitigated the user over to a new computer but we can't retrieve her emails that she had stored locally on the old machine where we get the beach ball. Ugh.
