Apple Music through Apple TV HD

Got it. When you go to Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Is it set to Dolby Digital 5.1?

Does this happen for every song played or just specific songs within the Apple Music app?

If you haven't yet, we'd close the Music app on your Apple TV: Switch quickly between Apple TV apps

Then restart the Apple TV: Restart Apple TV

Test if the issue persists.

Make sure the Apple TV is up to date: Update your Apple TV

Also, confirm there are no firmware updates available for your speakers or TV.

If the issue persists after these steps, then you'd want to contact Apple Support directly: Get Support

They'll take it from there.

When you attempt to play content, does this happen when playing any content or just specific content?

In your set up, are you using the TV speakers or through a speaker set up? If a speaker set up, which speakers are you using?
