Has anyone any luck/advice about using an Ultrawide 49” 5120x1440 display with a MacBook Air M1, 8 core gpu?

I’m tempted by the Samsung one, but have seen that it doesn’t have USB-C - I’d prefer a model that will allow me to use a single cable to display the image, power the laptop and send data from the usb devices connected to the monitor- just the mouse at the moment. The AOC model looks tempting. It’s mainly for coding and other work activities- I spend most of my working life in browser or Office apps - it’s not for gaming or creative use so it doesn’t have to be colour-perfect.

thanks.
