Iphone 4 - Wifi Password Problems

My home has an apple router, so I never had this problem until this week.

I cannot logon to most wifi spots. The phone sees the router, but gives the following error: "Incorrect password for 'router'".

The password is correct, but I can connect with my computer or others phones, not the Iphone4. I have tried a dozen spots, houses, cafes, airports etc.. and I could get one or two to work.

I am using the correct password- it has to be driver problem.

Any ideas? I have reset the network settings back to the factory settings. No difference.

My son was having the same problem. The password entered was CORRECT and our two other iphones and our three kindles were all connected just fine. I turned the router off and restarted it. That did it!

Allan Sampson's Settings- General- Reset- Reset Network settings solved it for me also. iPhone 4 that had been connecting to Time Capsule wi-fi hadn't been connecting recently. Tried all sorts of reconfigs, unpluggings, etc. on the Time Capsule without any luck. Symptom- it would not take the connection password. The Reset Network Settings solved it instantly.

REseting the verizon router was the solution!
