Logic Pro X quit unexpectedly while using the libEuCon2.dylib plug-in

Disclaimer: I will not take any responsibility for this procedure.

Just letting you know, that it worked for me.

Use Spotlight Search to find this file.

Delete the file, but leave it in your Trash.

Restart the Mac.

If Logic does not rebuild the file or seems not to be connecting to the Control Surface, then "Put back the Lib file from your trash.

Restart the Mac.

I did this and both Logic and Pro Tools behaved 100%.

Logic Pro 10.6.0 instantly crashing when opening any plugins. I recently updated my MacBook Pro to Big Sur and along with that, Logic to the newest patch. Unfortunately, every time I open any plugin, Logic instantly crashes. This happens when trying to add a new plugin to a channel strip, open a preexisting on a previous project, or when opening plugins loaded in along side software instrument patches and their sends. In my previous projects that already are finished, all the plugins work but as you go to open them, it crashes. I have removed and reinstalled all my 3rd party plugins and this did nothing as this still happens with the built in plugins. It definitely isn't hardware related as this is a 2019 MBP 16 with an 8-core i9 and 32 gb of ram. This is some info from the crash report: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSPlaceholderDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:count:]: attempt to insert nil object from objects[0]' terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException abort() called Anyone having the same problem or with any kind of insight into this issue, your help would be appreciated.

G-Force M-Tron Pro and Logic Pro X 10.5.1 - Crashes Hey everyone, Does anyone have any experience with the G-Force M-Tron Pro instrument crashing in Logic Pro X 10.5.1? I was using it on previous sessions perfectly fine in an older Logic version and now it doesn't seem to want to work. Whenever I load the plugin, I get the rainbow death wheel and have to force quit Logic. To confirm, this does work in Pro Tools Ultimate... I'm running a Late 2012 Mac Mini on Mojave currently. Anyone have any experience with this plugin and if there's a way to fix this? I am stumped as to why it won't work in this version of Logic when it used to work. Cheers.

Logic 10.6.3 Quits Unexpectedly - Switching Alternatives/Quitting/Bouncing/ etc. Hi Everyone After much troubleshooting I'm still finding Logic crashes/quits every time: I Switch between project Alternatives Try to Quit Logic Close one project and try opening another Bouncing Midi in place (sometimes) Error reports detail numerous triggers: sometimes 3rd Party software, Auvaltool (which itself crashes when trying to rescan plugins), Sigtrap - (link to error reports below) Feels like I've tried everything to get to the bottom of this: sorting out Caches/Components, rescanning plugins, updating 3rd party software etc. I have the latest version of Logic (10.6.3) and Big Sur (11.5.2), but all this was happening in the previous Big Sur update too. Model is: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) Any help or insights much appreciated. Mike
