There was a problem creating your new apple ID

Hi,

Can I get some help with this problem?

I'm trying to create a child account to link to my family sharing, but I get this message at the end: "there was a problem creating your new Apple ID. your account cannot be created at this time".

Several people have posted that when they used a different device/computer, they were able to create the account.
