Dash Instead of Colon on keyboard
Why is my MacBook suddenly typing a hyphen when I am hitting the colon key (shift/semicolon)? It does not happen in email or text documents

Where does it happen? What app? Here when you type in the Apple forums?
Can you please with with my MacBook inserts a hyphen when I am hitting the colon key (shift/semicolon) within a word document. The colon appears find within an email, text, or notes.
