This just started. I am not able to sent a text in Messages to an android (or at least a non-iphone) device. I have not made any recent changes to the Mac OS (using 12.1 on my Mac Mini).
I cannot find any settings to change and I did a complete restart, but still the text will not send. I get a non-deliverable message and a Try Again, but no luck.
Any ideas?

The end of this article gave me the way to solve my message problem. See the asterisk near the bottom of the article: “Don’t see the Text Message Forwarding setting …” for how to fix messages on your computer.

Is " Pickup calls on Nearby Devices " enabled ?
To compare - no issues from Mac mini M1 Monterey 12.1 and Messages to Android and / or iPhone
