turn off finder sounds

Just upgraded to Monterrey.

Every time a finder action completes my Mac plays a sound.

Like a beep when an airdropped file arrives or a bonk when a file finishes copying or moving.

This happens even when the system sound is switched off.

What is the setting where I can turn these sounds off?

I've solved it!

Seems to be the User Interface Sounds preference that controls things like the Airdrop completion sound.

The only way I can see of turning off the AirDrop sound is to go to System Preferences - Sound - Sound Effects and set the Alert volume to 0:



This is obviously a system-wide setting (it also mutes all the crashes and bangs in Finder), but it doesn't affect the sound output from music, videos etc.
