How to edit smart folder that is not accessible in browser side bar?

I already read some info about that but I don't succeed when smart folder is not accessible in browser side bar.

Also seem related XML file logic is strange...

Smart Folders are normally stored in ~/Library/Saved Searches/, but you can save them just about anywhere.

You'd have to explain what you find strange about the XML, but there is no need to edit the XML. Just open the Smart Folder and select Show Search Criteria from the ellipsis menu in Toolbar.


You cannot "edit" the built-in smart searches, like Recents. Well, you can edit it, but you can't save those changes to Recents.
