music is missing the menu bar. not in full screen mode

I recently got a new iMac. I am running Monterey. I am trying to find the toolbar in Music. it seems to be running in fullscreen mode, however when I press the green button, it still is in full screen and no toolbar. anyone who can help? I am trying to create a playlist

We'd like to help get your Mac to let you create a new playlist in the Music app, so let's start with better understanding what's happening:

  1. You mentioned enabling fullscreen for the Music app, but it's expected behavior for the menu at the top to hide itself away. If you move your mouse cursor to the top of the screen while in fullscreen, does the menu bar show then?
