Unable to edit videos from my GoPro Hero 10 Black

Hi there,

Whoever I import my GoPro Hero 10 footage into Final Cut Pro X (running on MacBook Pro 2020 16GB Ram, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5) the footage plays for a few frames then completely freezes.

I then get the spinning wheel and I have to force quit the programme, should this be happening? I'm only shooting in 1080p at 60fps. So not huge quality footage. It just won't play.

Any help would be great? Are GoPro's compatible with FCPX and Macs?

Please post an Etrecheck report from https://etrecheck.com, which will provide information about what might be going on. Give the application Full Disk Access in Privacy System Preferences, and use the "Additional text" button at the bottom of the reply box to paste the copied report.
