How do I revoke app access once I’ve already approved the app on screen time

I don’t need to adjust the app limit. I need to stop my child from downloading the app again as I had previously given permission to an app and have since changed my mind.
is this possible?

Thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to start re-downloading of a specific app. You could try restricting access to the App Store using this link:
