Hyundai Santa Fe 2021 CarPlay Disconnect

I know this has been posted before, but I want to keep the pressure on Apple to do something about it…
I have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2021 and an iPhone 13 mini iOS 15.1.1
At seemingly random times the wireless Apple CarPlay will not connect. The problem is not resolved with any set of actions provided by Apple Support or Hyundai. It only seems to resolve itself if the car is turned off for a sufficient amount of time.
This issue was also present with my previous phone, an iPhone XR. The issue is also present with my wife’s phone, of the same model (both her XR and her 13 mini).
I have approached Hyundai maintenance about this issue twice and most recently they have told me that this is a prevalent issue that Hyundai is aware of and the problem IS WITH IOS.
Please, Apple. Address this issue. Do not respond with a robot's instructions on how to handle CarPlay issues. It is not that. Your software has a bug and needs to be patched.
