Mini Mac set up attemp. What image will display if hdmi cable is incapable? Will not move to set up screen. Only flashes image of a port .

Those images are telling you to turn on your new Apple wireless mouse and keyboard so that they can pair with the Mac Mini.

If you do not have a new wireless mouse and keyboard? Try connecting a USB mouse and keyboard, so that you can proceed with the initial setup. FWIW most any generic or pc USB mouse and keyboard will work with the Mac Mini.
