Help! iCloud archives anywhere?

Ran out of storage space (200) so iPhone wasn’t backing up. Son’s iPad is linked and he deleted photos on iPad to drop below storage space to allow fir auto backup. Just noticed that he deleted precious photos and I want to try and get them back! Is there a backup archive in iCloud I can somehow access? Or when the auto backup occurred did it completely replace all the data (photos) in iCloud?

No. If photos were deleted in the past 30 days, they may still reside in the Recently Deleted album. but, if he was freeing up space, he likely deleted items from that album making the images irrecoverable.

You'll only be able to replace the pictures for any offline backup that you may have.
