Option 1 get a USB-C to USB-A adapter and connect the camera or existing card reader to the new iMac.

Apple sells this one > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207816

For other USB-C to USB-A adapters, go to > usb c male to usb a female adapter

I use these > https://www.target.com/p/philips-usb-c-to-3-0-usb-a-female-adapter/-/A-79804275

Option 2 get a USB-C card reader, remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into the card reader.
