bergerbest,

Thanks for giving those steps a try beforehand.

Going forward, try the additional steps listed below, testing the issue after each step:

• If you have a case on your device, try testing the issue with the case removed. This can help to determine if there is any interference with how the cable is seated between the iPhone and stereo.

• Forget the stereo in Settings > General > CarPlay > [stereo name].

• Forget the iPhone from within the stereo settings. These steps may be located in the vehicle or stereo user guide.

• Rename the iPhone in Settings > General > About > Name. Change the name of your iPhone - Apple Support

• Reset the network settings on the iPhone with the steps here: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support

• Since using a wired connection, test the issue with a shorter Apple approved Lightning cable if available.

If still having issues after going through the steps listed above, then we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly at this link here: Get Support - Apple

Have a great day!

bergerbest,

We understand that the issue is occurring on multiple devices. Since this is the case, the next best option would be to have the iPhone inspected further in person for hardware issues. After your iPhone has been inspected the service provider will be able to provide you with the best options from there.

You can use the link provided in the previous post for help with finding service locations in your area.

Please feel free to reach back out to the Apple Support Communities if you have any other questions.

Cheers.
