How to access messages in iCloud

My iCloud is full and it’s mostly messages but I have it turned off on all my devices. I signed into iCloud but there’s no icon for messages. How do I see what is taking up so much of my iCloud and iMessage? TIA.

I've tried following Apple's instructions on how to delete messages on iCloud (I have both a Mac and iPhone) and even though on my iPhone "top conversations" take 1.6MB, "manage storage" still says I'm using 3.9GB of data on iCloud for messages. iCloud full because of Messages, but Messages does not use iCloud Like the title says, I have officially run out of iCloud storage on my iPhone because Messages is taking up over 4.5 GB of storage space. However I do not have iMessage set up to use iCloud (although I might have in the past). I checked on all my devices. How do I recover that 4.5 GB of space?

imessage can’t reduce icloud storage Trying to reduce icloud storage of messages. Have three devices all set up? To have messages show on all three. Get different numbers for how much space top contact uses from the devices. Can’t figure out how to read messages on icloud. Loss at where to do now.

All of your messages are on your device(s). Messages are not accessible in iCloud as they are end-to-end encrypted.
