Can't open QR code restaurant menus on new iPhone 13 Pro

Hello:

I recently got an iPhone 13 Pro, and I seem to always be the only person in the restaurant who can't access the QR Code menus. What happens is I focus the camera on the QR code, and the little web link appears below it, I touch the link and I am taken to Safari, which promptly says I do not have access. A work around that worked for a while was to choose the option to copy the link and paste it into Chrome instead of Safari, which would then open the menu, except that now stopped working as well. Now Chrome also says I don't have access.

Any ideas?
