iPhone 13 Pro Max Lock Screen Sound Low

Just received this new phone. Had an XsMax before this. The lock sound, even other system sounds, including texting alerts are significantly lower than my XsMax.

Volume for playing music seems to be fine.

What is going on here? I can barely hear any of the normal alerts.

Hello viper699,

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with your notification sounds being lower than expected. Have you had a chance to see if you're able to raise the volume by tapping Settings > Sounds & Haptics, then moving the slider under "Ringer and Alerts"? Those steps can be found in the following guide, just in case: Adjust the volume on iPhone

Keep us posted.

Take care.
