What should I do when my iMessage and FaceTime ask me to sign in to my Apple ID but when I tap to put in my password it won’t even do anything like show the keyboard or the typing line?

I found what my problem was, if you have parental controls on those can limit what you can do so they were keeping me from doing what I needed.
