wifi status - off I am not able to connect to Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi network Status: is "Off" and when I click on "Turn Wi-Fi On" it does not respond.

Restart in Safe Mode and reset the NVRAM if you have an Intel based Mac. Use Google for instructions.
