AirPods Pro not listed on Bluetooth

My phone keeps dropping my air pods pro from the Bluetooth connected devices. I connected them this morning and then this afternoon they were are not listed as a connected device. This is about the third time this has happened and I’m wondering why. Thank you.

Thank you for following up.

iOS Bug in iOS15:

This is a well-reported bug, and is an occurrent highly-reported on these forums. Being that troubleshooting them was unsuccessful, I suggest you report this bug to Apple, on your own behalf.

macOS Bug in Monterey:

Bluetooth connectivity it also a well known issue in macOS Monterey. For whatever reason, the Developers of Monterey decided to do away with the Bluetooth debug menu in the operating system. So, if you were to try these on a Mac with Monterey, you may or may not get the same issue. See my User Tip I authored back in 2021 when Catalina was still released. In the second comment, I report about this having gone away, and recommend to follow users that they provide Apple with feedback on bringing this debug menu back. I suggest you do provide some feedback on that, as well.

So, Report this to Apple:

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

iPhone Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Comment: that it is after installing iOS15 when the issue began
  3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

You did not answer my question. I have already set up the AirPods Pro in the Bluetooth settings on my phone. They are there, they have been there for more than a year. In the past two weeks I come to my phone and my AirPods Pro are no longer listed as a connected bluetooth device. I did nothing to disconnect them, they just don't show up on the list of connected devices. My car's bluetooth is there, the Jambra speaker is there, the Bose speaker is there, but no AirPods Pro. It's as if I never connected them.

I have to start from the beginning like I'm setting up the AirPods Pro for the first time. So, I open the case and tell my phone to search for bluetooth devices and then it finds the AirPods Pro again goes through the initial set up process. I've had to do this four or five times over the past couple of weeks.

This all seemed to start after the last up iOS update when I started getting notices about my AirPods Pro "have been moving with me all day. The owner can see them." They are my AirPods Pro, of course they have been moving with me all day. This is not helpful.

Why does my phone's bluetooth setting menu keep dropping my AirPods Pro?
