I successfully transferred my information to new phone. Can’t make calls or texts now. Do I need to switch the SIM cards?

If you are still using the plan on the "old SIM card" (the one in your old device), then yes, you will need to put that SIM card into your new iPhone.

SIM Card Goes to New iPhone:

You should place the SIM card in your old phone in to the new phone. If no success, contact your carrier.

Regarding the transfer of the SIM Card. Do I do that before or after I transfer all the phone data to my new iPhone??
