Can virus from link on Instagram affect my files and make transferring photos to iCloud unsafe?

I clicked the link that tried to steal my bank account informations and I’m wondering if the link could contain a virus that could attack my phone. Is it necessary to set iPhone to factory settings? Can transferring files/photos from my iPhone to iCloud affect my whole account? Is it safe transferring files in this situation?
