se 2020 2nd generation screen not working, cannot unlick

screen is frozen but can hear voice over telling me correct function, for example, when I put in passcode it correctly says the numbers but the screen doesn’t register, it also won’t let me slide the off button across.

I have tried the force reset and attached to MacBook but it’s saying I need to unlock first.

Anyone experience the same and what to do?

I have contacted Apple support and they say a technician needs to look at it.

Problem is, I bought it from eBay only a few weeks ago for my daughter’s 10th birthday. It looks in pretty good condition and seller good feedback. I don’t really want to send back but I’m not sure how much it’s gonna cost.

Its pretty full on charge, would it make a difference waiting for it to die then recharge?
