I have an automator script that worked fine up until Monterey. The error is in the screen shot below. Can't copy the error message.
I don't even know how to begin to trouble shoot this. Can someone please tell me what to check? Thanks.
Here is the whole workflow. It's simple.
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.0
Do you have a Monterey (64-bit) compatible version of PDF Expert installed? The current version in the Mac App Store is v2.5.19 (updated 4 weeks ago). If you are using this version, then check with the vendor about Monterey compatibility issues.
If you are upgrading from High Sierra or Mojave, those PDF Expert Automator actions may be 32-bit and will not work on Monterey.
You may need to open that Automator application in Automator and then resave it as an application again.

thanks for that reply. How can I determine if an app is 64 bit or not? Get Info does not say anything about it. I'll check with the vendor; it sounds like you are saying that this is a Fine Reader issue, not an OS X issue.
PDF Expert uses that icon, so I assumed your actions were related to it. I see now that ABBYY Fine Reader PDF for Mac also uses this icon too, so do check with the ABBYY vendor to confirm that they have made the linked product (and its Automator actions) 64-bit compatible with Monterey.
Thanks, yes I understood your comment, their icons are similar or the same I agree. I'm in touch with the vendor and will update this when I get a reply in case I'm not the only one seeing this kind of error.
